Libraries As Treasure

When traveling I always consider a library to be a treasure--if not for the items on the shelves, at least for the clean bathrooms!

I don't know if you're familiar with the new sport of geo-caching, but it involves a type of treasure hunting using GPS (Global Positioning System--a system of satellites and receiving devices used to compute positions on the Earth.)

The site, www.waymarking.com, "will provide you with the tools to share and discover unique and interesting locations on the planet." Members list places that may be of interest to other geo-cachers.

Waymarking is another example of social networking that is available online, probably the most famous being MySpace.

But back to libraries as treasure...I found that someone has been listing NH libraries on the Waymarking site. I hope to see us on there one day!

Hey, we have great bathrooms!

And nothing says you care like a clean restroom. Good luck on getting that visit.
