May we add ones? I think The King's Speech is a great love story, too. As someone who writes about a good marriage, I'm always amazed by how much our culture finds love affairs fascinating and marriage boring.

The King's Speech was a great movie!
Another great love story is The Apartment with Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine. It ranks right up there in my top 10 all-time movies!
My favorite book and movie: Pride and Prejudice, the film version with Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy.
